Lab UbiNET - "Computer Security and Cybercrime" was founded in 2009 as an internal research laboratory of the Polytechnic University of Beja.
It stands out by combining expertise in Computer Science and Engineering with Law.
In the field of Computer Engineering, activities focus on Computer Security, with an emphasis on Cybersecurity, Offensive Security, and Combating Cybercrime, through the study and practical execution of cyberattacks in controlled, internally developed environments.
In the field of Law, activities aim to complement engineering research and practices with legal perspectives, enabling institutions to operate in compliance with an increasingly demanding regulatory framework, particularly regarding Digital Forensics and Personal Data Protection.
